Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most creative man in history. |
well, this one here is about what i get from the lecture, if something's missing in here, please forgive me (i'm not a talented genius, if you know what i mean...). first one is about your work being original. when it said original, it MUST be ORIGINAL! (sure, you can take some ideas from someone else, but isn't it boring if you just "cut & paste" the whole idea?). of course, there are ways to get some originality for your idea. just be sure that your "paradigm" must not remain constant (you can't just stay there learning nothing new!). anyways, first aspect, there are many questions in the world, countless of them. each maybe has it's answers, but is it the only answer? for example,1+1=2.is 2 only the answer? aren't there a lot more answers other than 2? there should be a lot more answer than that, right?1+1 can be 0+2,2/1,1/1+1/1,etc. aren't there more than one way to sole a problem? (aren't there more than one solution to stop a war other than destroying one another?) if a question only has one answer, then it will be pointless and boring.didn't Newton's answer about the Universe aren't the same as Galelio, Eienstien, nor Steven Hawking? another one is is it better to be intelligent or a thinker? most people thought that being intelligent is better than thinking (thinking is annoying, thus they only want one simple conclusion for a problem, in other words they want it simple) but sadly if they are intelligent, their ideas will just remain that way, nothing new and benificial. they only think that they are right, but there are actually more ideas than that. they become selfish, thinking that it's the only solution that solve their problem.(and thus it is important to have more than an answer for one question. but then, thinkers will actually keep thinking to actually stop what there are thinking (sad but true). they will find answers just because they want to stop their most annoying questions. but thinking to much can also be dangerous (Newton spends his time locked in his room for many months, even years to solve the wonders of the heavens). you might be wasting time thinking to get everything done. so "don't think, feel!" and lastly, content. creativity is not original, of course, even though they want to make something original. but what about changing that ideas content? suprisingly, that "old thing" will be "new" when it changes it's content.(you might think that Eienstien's popular formula E=mc2 is his original idea, but he actually took Newton's idea for that formula. he only change his "content' to make it new). even a boring thing can be interesting if you change the content (thus allows invention to innovation). and lastly, logic and creative, which one is the better? BOTH OF THEM! without logic, creativity will be something arkward. without creativity, the logic will be meaningless. (didn't Eienstien imagine what happened if he move a the speed if light and what happened to his surroundings to get that formula of relativity?). thus, both creativity and logic must work together to achieve great answers. to end this thing, creativity might be good or bad, it always depends on the user.(but please use it for good....)
